Safic-Alcan opens new subsidiary in Kenya


Safic-Alcan,  a global distributor of speciality chemicals, has announced the opening of a new subsidiary office in Kenya as part of an expansion of its footprint in Africa.

In order to better service the East African market, which includes Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the recently established Safic-Alcan East Africa is conveniently situated in Nairobi.

Safic-Alcan’s new office in Kenya will work in conjunction with its current regional hubs in South Africa and Egypt to better serve the demands of the continent’s expanding client base.

As Development Director for East Africa, Safic-Alcan has chosen Mr. Philip Kamau to lead the organization’s work in the region.
